Watch for a Lawsuit From the Estate of John Cage

Streaming service Spotify doesn’t pay artists much, with a single play of a track earning a band around half a cent. Michigan band Vulfpack attempted to increase their earnings by releasing an album called “Sleepify”, which contained 10 31-second silent tracks intended for overnight “listening”. Impressively, it netted them $20,000 before Spotify pulled it down.
