Bill Watterson’s Return

Slightly less than two decades ago, the last “Calvin and Hobbes” comic strip ran in newspapers. Since then, the strip’s creator Bill Watterson has retired entirely from public life, and the world has been a poorer place for it. Last week, unbeknownst to readers, Watterson made a brief return to the comics page.
