The Less Than Ideal Vehicle Resulted in the Cessation of Life

Recently, a General Motors presentation was made public as part of an agreement with the government surrounding past safety issues. That presentation instructed the company’s engineer to avoid various words in their reports, for fear of how the media and customers might reach. Words like “death trap” and “Kevorkianesque” probably should be avoided, yes, but the presentation also suggested avoiding words like “always”, “defect”, and “bad”.
