In 1975, the Reds and Red Sox played an epic World Series, going to 7 games. Though Carlton Fisk’s Game 6 heroics are the most iconic moment of that series, it was the Reds who took home the trophy the next night.
50 years later, the teams came together for a regular-season interleague matchup. This time, the Red Sox (and their broadcast network NESN) came out on top, with a delightfully retro-themed broadcast. See a sample here:

The low-rez box score was great, even if the mixture of resolutions here was somewhat confounding:

There were nits to be picked, but it was still a great idea executed well. More broadcasts should have fun like this.
