Following up on last year’s New York City-based attempted suicide news, a recent story again illustrates just how awful the Big Apple can be. Thanks to a combination of snow and uncollected garbage bags, a New York man’s suicide attempt was thankfully unsuccessful.

After all the blame he received for the city’s poor snow response, perhaps Mayor Bloomberg should now try taking credit.
