It’s probable you’ve seen Randall Munroe’s work – he’s the creator of one of the most popular webcomics out there, XKCD.
What you may not know is that he’s also got a degree in physics, and worked at NASA’s Langley Research Center. So when Munroe starts a new blog called What If?, where he answers hypothetical questions with physics, you can bet it’ll be a fun read. It looks to be something like the Fermi problems you may remember from high school, with a possible pop culture bent. The first post, Relativistic Baseball, gets things off to a great start.
