Some Strong Prostitutes

Monday, July 23rd, 2012

The sex trade in New Zealand was decriminalized back in 2003, and since then, some issues have arisen. In one area of south Auckland, several dozen poles for street signs have been severely damaged by street walkers, who are using them as “equipment” to entice customers. An obvious solution to this problem? Just install proper stripper poles on all street corners.

A statement in the article, from a resident concerned with the infestation of prostitutes in his neighborhood, has left me with…questions:

Bernie Taylor, a local resident, said: “We had a parcel delivered to us recently and the address was ’Hooker’s Corner’ and it found its way to us with no problems whatsoever.”

Specifically, who addresses a package to “Hooker’s Corner”, and what exactly was in it?
