Recently, Walt Wawra visited Calgary, from Michigan. While there, he and his wife were approached while on a walk. The encounter so shook Wawra that he wrote a letter to the Calgary Herald about it, decrying his inability to carry a gun in Canada. Predictably, the letter has been met with widespread mockery. The capper comes at the end of that article, so be sure to read it.
Perhaps the most disturbing part about all this is that Wawra is a police officer. For his first instinct to be reaching for his gun is truly terrifying.
