If you haven’t heard about Mo’ne Davis, she’s a powerhouse pitcher in the Little League World Series, going on now in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. While Little League baseball has allowed girls to play since 1974, none have garnered as much publicity as Davis, and few have been so damned good. Davis is so popular she’s even gracing this week’s cover of Sports Illustrated, the first Little Leaguer ever to do so:

But the best part of the rise of Mo’ne, and the Taney Dragons, has to be this quote. When asked to compare herself to Major League pitchers, Davis had this to say:
“I throw my curveball like Clayton Kershaw and my fastball like Mo’ne Davis.”
