In 2017, at the age of 82, Dale Sanders set a record as the oldest hiker to complete the 2,193 mile long Appalachian Trail. In 2021, however, Sanders’s friend M.J.Eberhart broke that record, at the ager of 83. Sanders vowed to claim it back.
In 2026, at the incredible age of 91, Dale Sanders is once again the oldest hiker to complete the Appalachian Trail. Wow.
