Panos Ipeirotis, a user of Google Docs and Amazon Web Services, recently ran into an interesting problem he’s humorously dubbed a Denial of Money attack. Because Amazon Web Services is designed to scale up to provide what was needed (generally a good thing), when Ipeirotis hit an idiosyncrasy in Google Docs, his bill started skyrocketing within minutes.
