Toeing That Line

Friday, June 29th, 2012

Since the days of the cavemen, humans developed newer and more powerful weapons slowly, over centuries, until we finally created nuclear weapons. Not long after, most folks agreed that with nukes, we’d gone too far. Since then, the world has been doing all it can to scale down nuclear arsenals. Of course, now we’re continuing with slightly less offensive killing methods, pushing them forward until we find exactly where that line of “too far” is.

Scientists and engineers at Picatinny Arsenal are busy developing a device that will shoot lightning bolts down laser beams to destroy its target.

Oh good.
