Willie Walsh, who runs British Airways, has recently stated that the Virgin Airways brand will disappear within five years. Virgin founder and chairman Richard Branson didn’t take too kindly to this, proposing a £1 million bet, with the money to be distributed to the staff of the winning company. Walsh has apparently countered with a “knee-in-the-groin” bet. Branson has accepted.
