After nearly ten years in prison for a murder he didn’t commit, Ryan Ferguson has finally been released. He’s spoken with reporters about the ordeal, and mentioned the family of the victim.

“They’ve been lied to by people they trust and to see them misled by people that they believe are trying to help them. I can’t imagine anything worse than that,” Ferguson said.

I’m just tossing out possibilities here, but how about “being wrongly imprisoned for a decade”? That seems worse.
