A Dog Story

Tuesday, October 28th, 2014

Last week, I posted multiple successive tweets on my Twitter account to tell a short story. That story is reprinted below in its entirety for your enjoyment.

Today, a dog told me what to do.

The dog jumped out in front of me on the sidewalk. He barked and barked until I followed him.

Eventually, the dog lead me to a closed gate. I opened it for him, and he went inside.

I had been worried the dog was leading me to a dead body. It turned out he just wanted to go home.

I waited to see if he wanted me to continue following, but the dog was set. I next saw him in the house's front window, clearly smiling.
