Once upon a time, Download.com was a useful source for software downloads. Alas, the ’90s (and 2000s) are over, and CNet has allowed Download.com to turn into a vast sea of malware. One intrepid site did what you should definitely not try at home, installing the top 10 Download.com apps. I won’t say the writing on this piece is great, but the phrase “Just for shiggles” is a gem.
