Just over three years, I wrote about the fascinating legal wrangling surrounding the “Monkey Selfie”. While the most recent court ruling last year stated that at present animals are not able to hold copyrights, this ruling was appealed. Now, however, there’s been a settlement. As a result, the legal questions surrounding copyrights and animals will remain unsettled for now.
