It's OK if you don't care.

As you may already know, “influencers” are people with large followings on social media who receive payment for pitching various products. It’s generally a rather gross culture, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it appears to be falling apart.

For luxury influencers like Israel, it’s an opportunity to reflect on his industry.

“I’m trying to be very real at the moment,” he says, adding that he won’t buy any more Hermes bags this year.
