Listen, I recognize that this is just another form of advertising, at a low-level minor league baseball park. Nevertheless, I find I can’t help but link to a row of literal toilet seats at Classic Park, home of the single-A Lake County Captains. Someone had this idea, and then they made it happen:

It should be noted that this toilets are not functional. You still gotta get up to use the restroom. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing. Maybe both.
Also worth noting, the title of this post is a reference to one of the few funny “Family Circus” comics I can think of. I had a very difficult time locating it. Initially, my best hit was this list of “funny moments” from Family Circus, which contains a grand total of nine and a half items from a strip that’s been running for 64 years and counting.
After much web searching, I was able to locate a copy on page 8 the July 12, 1984 issue of the Banner-Graphic of Greencastle, Indiana, which I’ve reproduced below. Enjoy:

Longtime OFT fans may recall that I detest “Family Circus”, yet also have a deeper-than-I’d-like knowledge of it. I can only remind the gentle reader that entertainment options in the ’90s were much more limited than they are today.
