A coalition of musicians, including bands such as R.E.M. and Pearl Jam, have filed a Freedom of Information request to determine if their music was used as part of interrogations.
Portions of the music industry have previously gone after folks in some absurd ways, such as nearly fining a woman for singing to herself as she worked. However, I think it would be just delicious if those in charge of Guantanamo Bay were sued for improper use of music.
But if the music you created can correctly be called torture, do you really want to know?
