Olympic Ski Jumping Is No Longer Bullshit

Wednesday, April 6th, 2011

Did this very site get Women’s Ski Jumping added to the Olympics? Probably, but the women did their part too, by continuing to show their prowess.

As you may recall, prior to the 2010 Olympics, the Whistler ski jump record of 105.5 meters was held by a Lindsey Van. Ms. Van was not allowed to defend her record, however, because women’s ski jumping was not part of the Olympics. Now she and other women will get a chance to compete in the Olympics, starting with the 2014 games.
