Now that Valentine’s Day is over, it’s time to talk about syphilis. Ars Technica has a collection of public health posters from the 1930s, and they’re fascinating to look at.

It also strikes me that the design of posters from this era, when photography and printing were expensive, was vastly superior to what we see nowadays.
