Salesforce is a cloud-based software company that represents in my mind all that is awful and corporate in tech. I’m lucky that my only interaction with the company is via Slack, a subsidiary that they acquired back in 2021, but have fortunately kept fairly independent.

While I don’t have to use their products, I do hear about Salesforce’s annual “Dreamforce” conference. Tens of thousands of “trailblazers” descend on San Francisco for Dreamforce, and it has always sounded even worse than the average industry event. This year, organizers somehow got comedian John Mulaney to play the conference, and man do I wish I could see video. The text transcript seems to indicate he tore it to pieces like a Def Jam comic.
