Down in Virginia, a man has died after the bear he was hunting fell out of a tree and landed on him. That’s a bad way to go, and I’m sorry for both the man’s family and the bear in question. However, I am again amused by the photo accompanying the article. Here’s the image and caption:

A Virginia man was injured when a treed bear he and others were hunting (not the bear shown) was shot and fell from the tree to land atop him, causing serious injuries. He has since died.

If there’s ever a story about me in the news, I hope it includes a stock photo of some random other guy, with a caption stating “not the man shown”.
